Pressing the cmn key is default for calling up the "Secondary Tool",
as chosen in the upper right corner of whatever window you are working
in. So if you have the Zoom Tool as secondary it should behave as you
describe. Except for the cmd key... maybe that's a modification you
have done to the default key commands?
