Here's an interesting "control surface" for
software folks I hadn't
seen before:

At $140 it isn't exactly cheap, it isn't really large (or
durable)
enough for a footswitch, and it isn't backlit like the
Launchpad.
(Okay, maybe it isn't that interesting...:)
Still, the ability to configure your own switch layouts to
build "instruments" could be useful.
