OT: Stuff for Sale

Hi everyone,

I'm about to jump in on the gear selling train and offer the following
items before they go on ebay.

Pictures of the actual devices offered will follow. For any details,
contact me off-list, please.

GENERAL:
All of the offered items are used but in perfect working order, with no
damage, defects or malfunction known to me. They have spent the majority
of time in a smoke-free home environment. Due to the legal situation, I
need to make clear that this is a private transaction and none of the
devices comes with any warranty of any kind. All the descriptions are to
the best of my knowledge.

Location of the items is München/Southern Germany. Options to get the
items to you are:
    a) mail,
    b) local pickup.

I'm also willing to deliever the items within a sensible radius around
München. Contact me for details.

I will sell on the following conditions: payment in advance (unless we
personally meet), buyer covers any shipping or money transfer fees.

If you're unsure about my reputation, check out e.g. my ebay profile
(dpeg_de).

All prices are negotiable - especially if you decide to get several items.

I will consider trade offers for things that are...fun - make me an offer!

1. Fostex D-160 Harddisc Recorder:
Harddisc recorder for all of you who don't trust computers, are looking
for a backup solution so that perfect take (or concert) doesn't get lost
in case the computer crashes.
16 tracks, analogue (RCA) and digital (ADAT) ins and outs. It holds an
internal EIDE harddisc (loaded with a 40GB 5400RPM IBM disc) and can
connect externally to a SCSI harddisc (or to a computer for file
transfer). Supports MMC, MTC both as master and slave (has the "MIDI
trio" connectors obviously).
One of the nice things is the detachable control, which with the help of
a standard VGA (15-pin Sub-D) extension chord can be used as a remote
and placed e.g. in front of your console. Also offers connection for a
footswitch for punch in/out. 3HU 19'' rack mount. Comes with original
(English) manual.
Going market prices according to prepal are in the $620 range.

2. Behringer UltraCurve Pro DSP2496:
Your ideal device in the FOH chain, combining a 31-band graphic EQ, a
10-band parametric EQ, a 10-band automatic feedback destroyer and a
3-band multiband expander/compressor (all adjustable separately for L/R
channel). Additionally, you get a 61-band frequency analyzer and
metering functions with adjustable weighting curves, and input for a
measurement microphone (w/ phantom power) e.g. to automatically adjust
your graphic EQ for a given room.
Typical set of connectors (including AES/EBU and S/PDIF optical,
analogue via XLRs and MIDI). Comes with printout of (German) manual,
other languages available from Behringer website.
Going market prices according to ebay (Germany) are in the slightly
above ¤200 range.

3. Marian MARC A ADAT computer interface card (2 of them):
A PCI interface card for eight channels in and out of ADAT optical
format (up to 24/48), this works with practically no load on the system
even with low latencies (efficient hardware/driver structure). Drivers
are available for Windos only, but for every subversion of it from 95 to
7. Several of them (like the two I'm offering) can be cascaded and
sample-accurately synced by means of a specific connector cable - which
I'll throw in should anyone get both of them.
Note: this works very well with item 1 (the harddisc recorder), if you
don't have a SCSI interface in your computer for data transfer.
These are going for ¤130 new (street price) each.

4. Wooden 5-octave keyboard flight case:
Exterior dimensions 107x41x16cm, 9mm birch veneer plywood, two locks
(can be locked e.g. with a padlock or piece of wire), one firm, soft
handle.
This case holds the majority of bigger five-octave synth keyboards,
especially from the 90s; I have used it to transport a Yamaha SY85, a
Korg Wavestation KEX and a Waldorf Q. Bottom inside has two strips of
hard foam, top inside is covered with soft foam - this holds and
protects your keyboard even under rough handling conditions.
Shipping for that one is rather expensive (I believe ¤26 within
Germany), so pickup is suggested.

5. Wooden L-shaped 19'' rack:
This is a custom job I used to ship around various items including a
large 19'' console, the HDR and EQ above. Exterior dimensions are
74.5x53.5x54.5 (9mm birch veneer plywood), this one holds a total of
10HU in the front and on top has a rack length of roughly 65cm. There's
no rack-mountable audio device I know of that won't fit in there! Has
locking latches for front and top lid, a door on the rear (e.g. to lead
cables out) and two folding/sunk-in handles on each side.
Optionally comes with a fitting caster board (w/ wheels specified for a
total weight of 440kg).
Don't know how to get it to you (shipping company?) except by
pickup/delievery, so again pickup is suggested.

Ok, that's it for now.
As I said, pictures will follow, questions will be answered, trades will
be considered.

Yours,

          Rainer
