Re: New from Vox - NAMM visitors, please check this out!

That definitely looks interesting. I am curious what you can us the expression pedal for (feedback, loop volume, just the wah and fx?).

I have preordered the LP2 a few days ago (to replace my Headrush) and I am not sure if I should have waited to see what NAMM would bring. The two independent loops in the new Boss and the Vox are appealing, but I never liked the Boss RC pedals and the Vox doesn't look that intuitive to use (and I am not that much into the effects - I prefer to have separate outboard fx). I guess I should just wait for some reviews to come in.

Now, you obviously picked the hottest new looper from the batch (sorry, Bob, but I think it is):

From the description and the demos, I see the highlights as having:
  a) both a pre-loop and a post-loop effect (the latter can be resampled)
  b) undo AND redo
  c) fading loop stop mode
  d) two independent tracks

On the downside: only mono, and no storage ('though the latter must not necessarily be considered a bad thing by us hardcore improvisation theorists).

Anyone of you NAMM visitors can test drive that thing and share some thoughts?
