OT? Driving a VG unit and guitar synth

Hi there,

Do any of you similarly obsessed guitarists know if there is an way
way to use a single 13 pin synth guitar to drive a VG unit AND another
guitar synth at the same time?  I know Roland makes a switcher but
$200 seems kind of steep.  And as for the GR 55, if I didn't already
have the units I want to use, I'd seriously consider going that route
(but now that would include selling stuff and all those hassles, so
not for now).
