Thanks. At 3 rack spaces, it reminds me of the old Roland line mixer I 
used to have (M-160) and I'm not sure it's enough of a win over the Mackie 
1202, but thanks and I'll at least ponder it.

Thanks also to Luis for the Tapco link. Andy Owens' concerns about noise 
get me thinking more carefully, but it does point out that I could deal 
with my insert to main ahead of the level for the monitors by taking main 
out to the M300 and then back in an input that feeds only to the control 
room. I hadn't thought about that because in the past I've ended up using 
the control room feeds to get stereo feeds for loopers.

Time to go study the SM82 and the MultiMix 8. (I do like the way Andy 
Butler looks at these things and casually says that it shouldn't be that 
hard to add an insert...)
