Bill's piece was so haunting and moving!
Made my morning: wonderful playing and the "live" sound made it even more amazing, that it could conjure such ethereal atmosphere!
Loved it!2011/2/1 Simeon Harris <simeonharris40@googlemail.com>that was lovely!
surely taking an audio feed to the computer and then merging it with the camera visual would be a better bet? if you're running a mac, you can do this in iMovie.
one thing that bill does extremely well and that regular guitarists don't have to contend with, is that the fact that bill's lap is moving around as he's hitting buttons...and therefore his instrument is moving around as well!
bill - have you tried post processing the loops from the LP1? this kind of quantize replace stuff sounds awesome with some synced delays and filters on it. if you have a delay that can receive midi clock, you can send it some from the LP-1 and bingo - instant fun!
anyway, that was really great...more please!

Lovely music Bill!
Can you get a direct signal feed to the camera? The footswith clicking kinda spoils the atmos a bit..

Subject: yet more Joy of quantize replace

This lap steel improv using the Looperlative LP-1 makes liberal use of the quantize replace function. I'm juggling 4 different tracks of quantized loops , and creating the form as I go, and I must admit that I had some content that i had already recorded before i pressed play on my Zoom Q3 . The idea was to have each loop be a chord made up of quantized notes so that toggling between them creates the chord progression. I'm continually evolving each of the loops by adding new content as I replace the old.EnjoyBill
