Actually considering how you can use the jacks over and over again and the cost per foot of the cable., they seem like a bargain compared to what passes for boutique cables these days. They sound great, very low capacitance, perfect for pedal boards, easier to bend in to small places. But they are for the do it your selfer, and require a sharp chisel or single sided razor blade, and a small hammer to make the cleanest cuts (better than typical dikes or wire cutters).
