Yup, it's something like this I'm envisioning. I know about the nano, cute device. Either this or an iPad, we'll see.. First I'll want to land a Mac Mini or preferably a refurbished 2.53/2.66Ghz server (which with two disks is the better option for me), get the software setup, and take it from there. /m Louie Angulo wrote: > you can also add the korg usb nano kontrol, its prety much > preconfigrued withAbleton,so you can cotrol every channels > vol, pan, mute etc.also the the RME mixers phone channels seem to be > already pre assigned to the nanos 1 fader,if u turn the rme midi > on,thrn you can just link your master outputs and control the overall > volume. > A nice and portable solution as well. > Luis > > On Sat, Apr 16, 2011 at 9:51 AM, van Sinn <vansinn@post.cybercity.dk> >wrote: > >>Hehe, yes, it is sometimes a small world with parallel thinking.. >> >>Actually, I'm considering using an iPad for controls, which will serve >other >>purposes as well, like a DAW app with 'motorized' faders. >>Pretty amazing the number of applications that are popping up for this, >like >>DAW controls, live recording and live apps, holders for keyboard, mounts >for >>drumkits et al.. >> >>A Mini it is, off to the bay I go. >> >>Thanks to all for replies ;) >>/van >> >> >>Eric James Dearatanha wrote: >> >>>Hey vin, >>> >>>I actually have a similar setup in my rack...
