Controlling edp with ableton

I've trouble figuring out how to make ableton send midi note numbers (39=record, 40=overdub, etc.) Additionally, the excel files that list the midi note (c1=record, etc.) are not correct.

I really need to send a midi clock pulse to the edp, but I can't figure out the right values.

I'm also working on using ableton's sequencer to send various commands to create cool rhythms, but I need the values.
