Re: New Video - "Cigarettes & Sidewalks" by The Wandering Madman
Hey Fro
love your set-up there, great sound too - I have to say that if I didnt know your work better, the stream of (Im guessing dead) soldiers appears to be a celebration of their lives and their choice to support the politics of war. I dont think you meant that?
I think its a moving and relevant message, when one understands what you are trying to do, I feel that it may be misinterpreted however, and as Gareth pointed out, depictions of the casualties of war, must be predominately made up of those innocents that are being slaughtered needlessly by our governments, and not those "heros" (ironic exclamation points) who chose this killing career path.
Howabout a new video with faces from the "other side" Same song- same take even... identical in every way, apart from the faces? Now THAT would be an interesting couple of videos, that would surly go viral?
Keep up the videos Fro my bro..
you are a talented guy

Hi there Fro,
I kept waiting for an afghani child's face to pop up there somewhere or maybe a rich oil baron. I found politically, it towed the official western line. I guess you're anti war but don't forget the innocent people whose lives have been ended or ruined by soldiers.
Slick arrangement though.
Peace
Gareth
