I use Dropbox and really love it. I don't use it for any secure info however just music and stuff. If I was concerned I would not use it on an unsecured network just as I wouldn't log into my bank at the coffeeshop, etc. Hackers and security are in a very fluid battle that is changing all the time. I am no genius so I try to be careful no matter how secure the service says it is. I change passwords (hard ones) often, etc also for my more private services.
I also have a verified account with Paypal and so far have not had any issues. I watch it fairly closely as I do with anything like this. Change passwords often and use hard ones! I do this sometimes after any transaction.
I am not a lawyer either but I will say that I get "good vibes" from Dropbox and like how they try to be transparent, remain as usable to me as they can and still be secure. Always room for improvements though so I will also be as proactive as I know how, defend my own security and keep as informed as I can.
Looking forward to hearing what others have to say.
best,

A couple of services that I use as a musician a lot, have updated their user agreements,
ones mentioned in the header of this post.
I tried reading the updated agreements, could not find anything suspicious.
On the other hand, regarding the Dropbox's latest update, there has been really strong
discussion about it.
Has anyone on the list had time to review these and what are your opinions?
