It really seems that RC-50 is discontinued
and being replaced with RC-30 now.

Probably too good for the market, was the case with RC-50.
There are more buyers for smaller loopers, and as my
music store worker friend said, he held RC-50 in the shelf for two years.
Smaller loopers move faster.

Dont know if the BOSS is going to announce a looper with more than 2 loops,
but this is what I have learned through my contacts

... I´ve just checked on e-bay here in Germany and the prices for used RC-50's range up to 600,- Euros, definitely not below 500,- Euros. It seems that waiting for a follow-up model might be a better idea, for the RC-50 prices might drop again. Or the new one is better anyway ;-)

 

I hope Boss/Roland is not replacing the RC-50 with their release of the RC-30.
