Louie, Jeff suggestion of using SoundPlant is, in fact, a great cross-platform solution. I just finished running some sound samples with it on my 13" February 2011 MacBook Pro that is running OS X Lion. You shouldn't have any problems using it (it's definitely software worth paying for, so I highly recommend it). Granted, it's not a plug-in, but it also isn't that "heavy" either. http://soundcloud.com/usrsbin http://audiozoloft.com http://usrslashsbin.angrek.com/ On Thu, Dec 1, 2011 at 5:46 AM, Jeff Duke <jeffloops@gmail.com> wrote: > that's what I did a while back for a live internet gig. i got samples of > vinyl crackle at freesound along with some "broken" music box samples and > activated them via Soundplant 39 into my loopers :) > > http://dl.dropbox.com/u/679233/if012110pt1.mp3 > > j > >> >> On 1 Dec 2011, at 09:04, Louie Angulo <louie.angulo@googlemail.com> >> wrote: >> >> > ive been looking for a cool vinyl emulation AU plugin to simulate >> > vinyl static noise and dirt, izotopes vinyl is cool but is not working >> > under OSX Lion >> > any other suggestions? >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > -- >> > www.luis-angulo.com >> > >> >
