Those are chords, built on the scale steps indicated . . . Do Re Mi is 1 2 3 and the triads formed from stacking every other note of the scale are the chords— So in C, V is G, VI is A (and vi is Am) and IV is F. Just like Gary sez, I was using roman numerals to describe my chord progression though I would like to add: I was in the key of E so the basic triad chords in that key are: I II III IV V VI VII E maj F# min G# min A maj B maj C# min D# dim I used an e major tuning, the progression was in 12/8 with a verse cycle that went: I IV I V IV E for 2 bars A for 2 bars E for 1 bar B for 1 bar and A for 2 bars, VI V IV the bridge went C#min for 1 bar , B for 1 bar, and A for 2 bars at the end I reversed the bridge section track as i changed it from 1/2 speed to normal speed to create a 2 measure IV V VI. Ok Mark so don't give me compliments.... don't prop up my (depending on your point of view) fragile, or inflated ego. see what I care, you rat bastard... would you at least throw me a like on Youtube? is that so much to ask mate? warm fuzzy hugs to ya Bill |
