Hi again Per! This gets more interesting: I tried connecting via a midi to USB box, but that didn't make any difference. I also tried turning a basic Live setup with no plugins. That didn't work. Actually the expression pedal connected via my 12Step seems to be working OK. It's just the one controlling SL, which is going via the pedal 1 port on my Gordius LG, which is making the "zipper" noise. More experimenting shows that actually any midi signal coming from the LG makes a noise - so pressing a button switch on the LG makes a very slight click through the speakers. This happens whatever midi port setup I seem to have within Live; whatever way the midi from the LG is connected (via my sound interface / or midi to USB box / or direct USB). The same expression pedal connected via the 12Step works fine, and a different pedal on the LG still "zips"! I tried removing the 12Step from the equation and just connecting the LG - no change. Since I've used expression pedals with the LG in Logic for over a year, the problem seems like it must be down to something in Live 8. Can't fathom out what though!
