Re: Mobius Baffling Phase 3

Last update of the evening and I'm done.

I have isolated the problem to the messages the FCB is sending to
Live. I have programmed the FCB to send a note on/off message ONLY.
However, when I go to assign the pedal press in Live, the first press
assigns the note value and a second press changes the assignment to a
control value. The CC value that is sent seems to change according to
the physical pedal and not the note assigned (I assigned the same note
value to two pedals and got different CCs depending on which pedal I
pressed).

Did someone say there is a chip that eliminates this problem on the FCB.

Oh yeah, and one last oddity then I really am done. I thought I might
be able to control the problem by changing the global settings on the
FCB so that notes were sent on channel 2 and everything else is sent
on 1. I confirmed this was being received at the computer this way
(note on 2, cc on 1) and configured the midi track for input only on
channel 2. This did nothing to filter out the incoming cc message.

Yep that does it, I have no clue how to solve this with the tools and
wits at hand.

Good night.

Kevin (but you knew that by now didn't you)?

Till now you seriously considered yourself to be the body and to have a
form. That is the primal ignorance which is the root cause of all trouble.
