Re: Kitara MIDI guitar

I like the touch screen technique for X/Y vector control but at the
moment I'm so bound to the Chapman Stick that it doesn't make sense to
add a touch pad, since both my hands are tied to the two fretboards.
But I have indeed looked into using an iPhone in a way similar to this
video (steep curve filtering) and I may work out that idea more in a
couple of months when I will start playing more with a harp guitar.
I'm thinking that the hand on the harp side doesn't need to work
strings all the time, just pluck them once and while strings are
ringing there will be time to move fingers on a touch pad to change
parameter values in the elctronics.

I also like the music Skrillex makes.

I already have an AKAI 4000s EWI and just can't imagine a better MIDI
controller for *playing* electronics. There was a funny and
intelligent comment on the linked YouTube page: "The Kitara is a
crappy guitar in the sense that a banjo is a crappy drumset."
