Voodoo TV will be broadcasting the PiNG LiVE this Tuesday night!
Supermarket audio/video technician Johnny Trelawny has set
up a live internet broadcast system VooDoo TV which will be
streaming this Tuesday's AMBiENT PiNG event beginning with
Hector Centeno's set at 8:30pm sharp EST. Enjoy the ambient

8:30 . Hector Centeno + Tetsuo Kogawa . A performance
for New Adventures In Sound Art's Deep Wireless
Transmission Art Festival featuring Tetsuo Kogawa (Japan)
on DVD and Hector Centeno (Mexico/Canada) performing live
using no-input micro-radio transmitters creating a theremin like
sound. Tetsuo is one of the originators of mini-FM and an
international radio art guru. Hector is a sound experimenter
who has performed at many NAISA events.
9:15 . dreamSTATE with BYRON KENT WONG . May is our
usual Radio in Ambience month which always remind us of
our friend, sound explorer and radio pioneer David Pritchard
who dreamSTATE and their guest, Byron Kent Wong will
be remembering and celebrating during their set as they
drone in G#. Byron's previous performances at the PiNG
were for the Radio In Ambience shows in 2003 and 2004
when he, David Pritchard and Scott M2 took us on
sonic journeys that have long been etched into PiNG lore.
10:15 . Byron Kent Wong . Born in Vancouver, Byron is a
Toronto and Los Angeles based producer, musician, director
and entrepreneur (Random Media Core Inc., Blue Spark and
zero11zero) who also hosted and co-produced CityTV's
The NewMusic. As a music and tv/media producer, he has
worked with The Crystal Method, The Eurythmics, Delerium,
David Usher, David Bowie, Beck, Ben Harper, and many others.
Byron, a Genie nominee, started out as an intern at a boutique
Toronto recording studio (Sonic Workshop) owned by renowned
radio-producer David Pritchard.

. BETWEEN SETS . We'll be playing music which reminds us of
David. Liz Janik (one of the last daytime DJs to program their own
music at CFNY - a station where David was the original program
director) will be in the house to introduce the dreamSTATE set
and during the first intermission will be projecting some of her
"interdimensional photos" scored with music by David Pritchard.

"Quiet Drones 4" is the latest installment in the continuing
compilation series of experimental ambient drone music. This
edition focuses on the theme of winter cold. The four pieces on
"Quiet Drones 4", all attempt to create a detached and frigid
environment for the listener. The four extended pieces stretch
the boundaries of deep listening music, with the average length
of each track hovering over the eight minute mark. This is icy
music that over time, reveals multiple hidden layers of textures
and tones. Quiet Drones 4 presents otherworldly and frozen
sounds coaxed from unidentified sources.

tracks from ATONEMENT, CHROMOSPHERE, dreamSTATE vs. HEIKI
and KALTE.
