Re: Swells (was Re: Strymon... whoa.)

I saw a video on youtube (sorry, can't get to it now) where someone covered "How soon is now?" by The Smiths. The guy set up a drum machine through the sidechain input of a compressor to get the opening guitar drone with ducking. Haven't tried it myself so I don't know whether you can control any time parameters, tho it worked quite well for that application, to my ears at least.
