I need a MIDI surface controller with a ton of buttons, preferrably with the ability to set and save banks where the buttons can send different note values.
I am using the Akai APC40 now. It’s alright, but you can’t save banks on it.   The Novation could work, but again it is too Live centric.
What’s out there?  I just want a matrix of tons of buttons.
