By the way if you want to replace your lame windows GM soundset by any
Soundfont, you can try this:
no need for a virtual midi cable to a vsthost.
I don't think it supports all the CC in the GM standart but great
anyway to listen to midi files or use midi generators (noatikl,
compose, ...)
