Hi Doug - I think you're right about us touching base awhile ago .... Looking forward to finally catching up.  My buddy Chris Peters (theremin, keyboards and gadgets) has some good spots.  I will ask him for a list of suggestions and forward to you.  I'm putting your Sept 30 gig on my calendar, but any reminder you can send to me as we get close will help.  I hope to have video/audio recording of Saturday night's gig and will forward to you if I can.  If it helps re: Sat, Chris and I will be driving in from my house (Woodmere) and will be driving back here after the gig.  I know mid-Suffolk is a long drive.  I just did a Manhattan to Holtsville round trip the other day!

Thanks Harry! I believe you and I may have touched base a few years back. Then I  disappeared from the Greater Loop for a bit.
I'm out in the middle of Suffolk County, so a run into NYC is an all-day event for me. The Spectrum looks like a wonderful venue. I'm putting it in my notes as a place to play.
 
Do you know of any locations on Long Island where looping/electronica/ even EDM is performed?

Woodmere.  I would like to make it out to see your set.  I'm playing this Saturday evening at a place called The Spectrum on Ludlow Street.  Music starts at 8pm.  A fellow named Scott RIfkin - The Exploration Project - has a Facebook page which provides time, place, etc.  If you can't find it and might want to come, let me know and I will email you the info.

I will be doing a set of live looping at the Port Jefferson Music Festival on Sunday, September 30th at noon.
