Personally, as I am a singer (or sort of) I think I will go for a Boss VE-20 unless somebody here can suggest me another battery operated looper with input for Mic, and with effects (which I use a lot).
I would have loved it to have also delay (just got echo), wahwah, eq or at least octave down/up, and some other cool effect instead of all those useless presets like rock, hard rock, pop, which sound all the same with a slightly different reverb. Especially considering that you cannot combine effects as far as I understood, so a stupid effect alone is really stupid. And I do not like boss. And red is not a good color. And I am joking. Still, if somebody knows another option, let me know. The Lil looper looks interesting though. But I like more the effects on the Boss (I use strobo and echo and flanger pretty much, and those harmonizer even if I am 100% they will sound artificial, are still a nice trick). And the Vox has got only one input, so I cannot loop me and my friend (guitar) at same time. Looks like I'm not the only one that needs battery power options for street performance. I have yet to find a simple, portable, relatively cheap solution....Any (DIY) suggestions? My idea is to get a scooter battery or something, as it's too limiting buying battery powered gear only. What do campers and such do?
