Re: OT: Anyone having trouble with audio applications on Mountain Lion?

ok.. no one had any issues then.. damn... just me then... Rats!...

Its nothing to do with artifacts just that some programs wont work... as I said is almost def not a sound/related issue...

And didnt understand the purpose of your comment actually Charlie... Do what for a living? write on computers? Cos Im a profrssional film-maker... and Im on Mountain Lion... Whats 10.6.8.. the Holy Grail of Mac OS´s...? Which one was that? Certainly, Im sure my machine was working much much better a few updates ago... Kinda Snow Leopard time... Things sure got sluggish for me with Lion, and Mountain Lion, well.. nuff said...
Now Amiga Workbench... Now THAT was an OS!

The question is all in the subject really.
Since installing Mountain Lion last week I've had no end of trouble with ALL my music applications, except Logic.
Adobe Audition fires up loads a file, then doesn't play.
Soundtrack Pro, has some weird routine with the Open dilog, where I cant get it to go away, therfore cant play.
Reaper doesn't open at all, says its "building interface, and top menu is there, but no window.

Nothing appears to be related to soundcard issues or drivers, more like interface issues, but what can the installing of an OS do to that? But weirdly its only happening on audio apps!!
