anders, do you have sync problems with the Octatrack?

Hello Anders!
I sent you an email time ago, never got an answer, did you receive it?

I had to send the OT to repair, fader problem. And I still have no time to make music so, I am studying, reading forums, reading about midi, and in the while I am getting a bit into DIY, the guys in Mutable Instruments forum are great. I have already my Shruthi-1 kit here and I will build it as soon as I stop working. I will before train a bit by assembling some audio cables, then midi modding a monotribe, then building a nebulophone (very nice, little funny synth).

So, I am reading of sync problems between Ableton and Octatrack.
As far as I understood, these problems comes from two causes:
1) Ableton is generally known for its bad syncing
2) the OT must be Master or the looper will not work well with the timestretch algorythm (confirmed by the Elektron support)
and, well, many people tell me that generally spaking it is always a pain in the A.. to sync hardware and software.

Even solutions like the Innerclock System and ACME ones are not working well with Octatrack apparently, because they need Ableton as Master.
David of Innerclock was very kind and offered to borrow an Octatrack and do some more tests.

So, did you ever try to use the OT as looper, Master, synced with Ableton also used as looper (= not to launch prepared samples but to live record)? Or with other software?
