Hey Kay'lon,

I'd stick go with a bigger processor (and bigger size) over a thin and light laptop for music, but even the ultrabooks are pretty good these days. I'd concur with those who say to avoid Sony, and I'd add HP and Gateway to that list of manufacturers who stop supporting older products.
