As per Pers, set InsertMode = REU.

Also, if Record/Delay = DEL, the EDP continuously records.  If you set a long delay (record) time and set the feedback to zero, you can reverse anything you play (up to the length of your record time) with a simple tap of Insert, while continuing to record.
