Hmm. Just a couple of weeks ago i (again) cloned 10.9.5 and 10.7.5 using only disk utility. The process was simple and both copies are bootable. Same can be done with a more scheduled option simply using time machine, which also supports smart copying already. Block copy options are welcome, though not needed over here, unless already deep in trouble - if so i'd use 0xED, though - it's free and allows to hex edit as well. Scripting before or after a copy i never needed, what is it good for? Thanx for any insights. jayrope --- www.kliklak.net/jayrope/ www.aircushionfinish.com www.prinzenallee.com www.plus.google.com/+jayrope On Nov 26, 2015, at 4:26 AM, Sylvain Poitras wrote: > > On Wed, Nov 25, 2015 at 4:30 PM, jrploopers <jrploopers@kliklak.net> > wrote: > Can you post a link about the valuable extras? > > http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/167036/disk-utility-vs-carbon-copy-cloner-how-to-clone-your-drive-with-apples-built
