Re: Echoplex EDP question

Thanks, Marc. How do you change to Quantize=Off? I should also add that only want the loop to play once, and then would have to be retriggered to play again.

MuteMode=Start

When MuteMode=Start, a second press of the Mute button will always restart the current loop at the beginning. This is probably the most useful setting for solo playing.

When MuteMode=Start, the end of the Mute is affected by the setting of Quantize. If Quantize=On, then sound won’t restart until the end of the current cycle.

Hi there,

Been on the list for awhile but this is my first time sending out to the hive mind, and pardon my ignorance in the following matter:

I used to have an old Lexicon JamMan which i swapped out for a Gibson reissue of the EDP, which was was a good move. But one thing that the JamMan could do that I haven't been able to figure out with the EDP is you could sample a note or phrase and then play it back from the beginning without running through the whole loop.

I don't have the manual at the moment and am about to do a gig and wondering if anyone out there could give me a quick and dirty tutorial on how to get the EDP to do that? I know it has something to do with Mute mode, but right now it mutes the loop and then starts it from the same point, not the beginning.

Thanks!

Mike
