Ok instead, You might also want to look at Sampler Style, I dont use it, as its a whole new way to think of looping, but maybe its works for you? There are some pretty weird side effects. Bit Sampler Style= One playes the loop, from the start till the end, then stops (or goes into Mutes I think, and you start it again by.. um... hitting next loop (or midi notes)... it gets weird if you have multiple loops recording as they kinda stack up... so you are in loop 1.. press nextLoop, and it plays loop 2, then at the end, instead of mute goes back to loop1... if you have 3 loops... weirder still--- you hit next loop twice to get to loop 3... then with NO foot pressing it with got to loop 2 then loop 1, where it will loop forever... I THINK??? Got stuck in this mode once without knowing and was totally lost!!!
YOu change to QUantise=off--- er by parameter timing row... quant can = off or cyc or 8th or Loop. select off...--On Fri, Jan 26, 2018 at 11:33 PM, Michael Rivard <microvard@gmail.com> wrote:Hi there,Been on the list for awhile but this is my first time sending out to the hive mind, and pardon my ignorance in the following matter:I used to have an old Lexicon JamMan which i swapped out for a Gibson reissue of the EDP, which was was a good move. But one thing that the JamMan could do that I haven't been able to figure out with the EDP is you could sample a note or phrase and then play it back from the beginning without running through the whole loop.I don't have the manual at the moment and am about to do a gig and wondering if anyone out there could give me a quick and dirty tutorial on how to get the EDP to do that? I know it has something to do with Mute mode, but right now it mutes the loop and then starts it from the same point, not the beginning. Thanks!MikeMark Francombe
