Founded in 2015 in Montréal, l’Ordre de l’Infiniment NADA (NADA) is dedicated to creating spontaneous, contemplative and psychedelic music based on profound listening and group improvisation. Using mainly synthesizers to create constantly evolving sound, each NADA performance fluctuates between drone and pure waves evoking altered states of consciousness, daydreaming, sonic meditation and cosmic kitsch. Heiki . Heiki (Hey-Key) Sillaste is a Toronto electronic music scene veteran. He has released a vast catalogue of music and has been involved with production duties on numerous electronic-music based albums. Heiki has also played in several music groups and ensembles, including the internationally renowned industrial-techno group DIGITAL POODLE, electronic freak beat group KINDER ATOM, synth duos LES FONTAINES and HOZERZ, as well as collaborating with diverse artists such as reggae musician Michael Rose, experimental pioneers Zoviet:France / Rapoon and ambient duo dreamSTATE. His graphic design work has been seen on countless music releases, museum and gallery graphics as well as national advertising campaigns. As a solo musician, Heiki has released 5 full-length electronic music albums under his own name. Matthew Ryals is a solo artist whose sound is a coalescence of avant-pop songcraft, melodic techno, and electronic experimentalism. An expression of human and machine, his music “filters the emotion of the human experience through the cold circuitry of electronics,” Tiny Mix Tapes. He has new music forthcoming and previous releases on Oxtail Recordings (NYC), Low Hanging Fruit (Cologne), and Behind Glass (NYC). In concert, Matthew navigates his patchwork of a highly customized eurorack modular system designed to perform, remake, and reimagine a set of songs each night. It’s a highly interactive performance with a clear correlation between motion and sound complimented by his vocals. It’s a fully hardware setup.
