Face masks! Gas masks! Dog masks! Kris and Heiki of HOZERZ return to the PING with their first outdoor concert: fully improvised, zero rehearsal and electronically distanced. Recorded purely in the moment, this was the first time Heiki and Kris had had a chance to perform together in over seven months. “Let’s start slow for the Ping boys. Then speed it up a bit and start getting freakier.” That was the first of a few brief planning discussions. Four drum boxes, three synthesizers, two bass machines, a couple of effects units and the HOZERZ freak-out funk machine was ready to roll! Recorded under a blistering sun, their analogue electronic gear started konking out...but the HOZERZ show had to go on! PiNG videographer and director of the hour, Jamie Todd filmed and visually phreaked out the entire HOZERZ performance in glorious technicolour.
