I need a new Looper - what do you suggest?

Hello fellow Loopers - I need your advice. After decades of using a pair 
of EDPs, I'm looking for a new stereo looper.

I'm finding the headroom on the EDPs is just too low for layering now that 
I've evolves off of my 90s era rack-gear to more modern 32-bit float 
pedals like the Meris LVX and Mercury X.

Two options I've been looking at a lot:

1. RC505 MKII - I like the easy access faders - but will need to add two 
footswitches to handle punching in/out of record/overdub etc.

2. Aeros Loopstation - I like the idea of six tracks and multiple parts. 
Would probably splurge on their Midi Maestro pedal for its 
simplicity/set-up with the Aeros.. This allows the loopstation to sit on a 
table with my other effects, and the footcontrol to handle the 
ins/outs/track selection job.

I need both to be Midi "slaves" so as to sync in/out punches with my 
time-based pedal effects.

Here's something live I recorded at home last week on my new little Zoom 
L6MAx mixer that can record what passes through it (no overdubs). So you 
hear the time-based beeps and boops.

What are you using for a Looper nowadays?

What do you think of the Aeros and RC 505MKII?
