I write and record a lot of different styles of music. My loop music is just part of my musical agenda but I have always loved loop music and even more the 'idea' of loop music. I am just about finished with my first two full scale loop music projects. The first is an E.P. entitled 'Answering Machine Music' and comprises of loop music recorded via answering machine cassettes. The second is an album entitled 'A Thread Of Light In The Cloak Of Darkness' and is composed of music recorded with the Boss RC-20XL. I also use my Delta Lab 'Super Time Line' rackmount delay unit for looping. It is somewhat hard to work with and noisy but I love it. Among the projects that I am involved with is 'House Music', an entirely improvisational band in which I regularly employ both the RC-20XL and the Delta Lab to produce spontaneous loops.
