Dennis Palmer is a synthesist, vocalist, and storyteller whose dedication to improvisation has taken many dimensions, including collaborations with the legendary and diverse talents of John Zorn, guitarists Derek Bailey and Fred Frith, Amy Denio, Japanese dancer Min Tanaka, and folk artist Rev. Howard Finister. He has had the distinction of performing at several major international festivals, including Derek Bailey's Company Week in London, and at the Festival International: Musique Actuelle in Victoriaville to name but a few. He has also played on the CBC for Sound Symposium Newfoundland and on the BBC program, Midnight Oil. Palmer also has performed with Capricorn Record's Colonel Bruce Hampton, Duplex Planet's David Greenberger and Drag City's David Pajo of Papa M.
