| Influences: | Well, that list just keeps growing. The main influences in my formative-learning-to-play-guitar years were probably Jimi Page, Jerry Garcia, Frank Zappa, Neil Young, and David Lindley. You never really lose the stuff by which you were first influenced. It creeps out of everything I do. More recent influences include Ween and Built to Spill. I find these days that I'm much more influenced by non-musical things, or people who write about music. I like reading reviews/descriptions/technical dissections of artists and their work. Strangely enough, that usually gives me more ideas than actually listening to music. |
