I use looping in a variety of ways - as a basis for building larger compositions, as well as in performance. I am mainly an improvisational musician, and I am also dedicated to the art of recording. I like unexpected combinations of sounds, as long as they are musical in some way. I embrace dissonance, but also have an ear for melody and harmony. I think the 'sweet and sour' flavors work well together and provide an interesting sonic palette to work within. I enjoy music which takes the listener (and player) on a journey to unexpected places. I believe that the best composing is done on the fly and without premeditation.
