GLENN HARRIS...'Permanent Revolution', is a collection of varying-fi recordings made over an extended period of time which skulk around the deep convolutions of his creative, volatile & swaying state of mind. A melodic post-classic rock retro/futro collision of lyrically introspective extrospection in varying situations and contexts.
His rangey textured voice routed through a series of vintage microphonics to varied effect combined w/ a spacey blend of warm guitar sonics played on a motley collection of guitars & amps, pedals, emitting transister barks and tube waves. Glenn interleaves piano, wurli, B-3, scattered synths, electric & upright basses, live and midi drums, tape effects, & incidental leaks in the field of sound expand and contract with the mix as the vibe changes.
His uncanny knack is spinning songs out, and experimenting with depth of sound & post-rock arrangement. From bare to allusions to multi-colored chord overtones tempered by random (un)orchestrated chaos summoning a sonic & thematic twist of the post-classic rock realm combining music from many music eras into new progressive lo/hi-fi.

In the past, Glenn has collaborated, recorded with or appeared on record with many artists (members of the Heartbreakers, Eagles, Pretenders & Ian McLagan, Dave Alvin)& has appeared as headlining act or in various bands supporting a variety of acts including Wilco, Jeff Buckley, Elliot Smith, Lucinda Williams, Smithereens, Sparklehorse, Incubus, Dwight Yoakum & Pete Yorn.
