totally agree.
in fact, i have friends/family who wonder how much i would get "done" if i
didn't waste so much time practicing...

it's difficult to support such absolute claims concerning value.
once you've covered food/shelter/freedom/survival, 
(hopefully without restricting others ability to do so)
everything else is just what you like...
