Re: Laptop mixer

I've used a JLCooper CS-32 for awhile, and enjoying it... it is cute as a button, small, secure... good for traveling gigs.

It fell apart from usage, but they repaired it for me for 100 bucks... this was after 3 years of heavy use...

i also use my novation remote sl37, but it's a bitch to carry with on a gig... automap is very cool though.

hard to beat.

for actual recording consoles though, the mackie control can't be beat IMHO

Does anyone use or know of a USB/firwire mixer interface for a laptop?  I
do all my recording in a D1200 but have gotten to like transferring the
tracks to my laptop for mixdown/mastering purposes but virtual sliders bug
me...

Thoughts?
