RE: Loopy blues examples

I don't have any examples of what you are after. I'm more of a rock/blues bases player myself, so naturally my looping experiments reflect that. What I HOPE to be able to do is to channel some of the repetitive patterns of delta and Chicago blues to my looping style. Create riff based loops and play Hound Dog Taylor style RAW guitar.. sort of channel the rhythms of delta blues through looping... I have a long way to go before I will be able to do that. But FOR ME that is much more interesting than trying to create "backings" to solo and sing over. I would more like the loop and the live playing to be one big blues riff moving along. Like 15 minutes of mannish boy..

Welcome by the way :-)

Hi all - this is a great active and friendly forum!  Plenty of posts, which is excellent - even if most of what you write goes straight over the top of my head at the moment :)

Are there any good examples of sound/video on the web of anyone doing gutsy or jazzy blues with guitar & vocals using loopers?

Thanks
