I think in order to do real time you need a powerbook that supports asynchronous I/O, otherwise the recording and playback will be bursty and the sound breaks up. You need to stream the data hence the need for asynchronous I/O. That would limit it to the 500 series, the 5300 and the 3400, I don't know if the new G3 powerbook have asynchronous. I/O or not. You can download the demo and try it to see if your powerbook will work. The demo is fully functional you just can't save any samples. later John > ---------- > From: Fmplautus > Reply To: Loopers-Delight@annihilist.com > Sent: Wednesday, January 21, 1998 8:06 AM > To: John_Ott@ATK.COM > Subject: Re: LiSa (was Re: New to looping/processing) > > Anybody know how much power a powerbook needs to run LiSa?
