The characteristics & specs resembles a lot the G-PA160s I have, a dual-space rackmount solid-state reactor power stage 2x80W for guitar. Very clear indeed, as little coloring (in my estimation) as I've been able to find. And indeed can be dangerously loud - I'm constantly fishing for the right level setting in the very low end of the range of the level pots. I think Trace Elliot only made a brief foray into this type of equipment before finding its niche again w/ bass & acoustic amplification? Pity, I'm extremely fond of it, have been for the 10-odd years I've owned it. At the time, I chose it over the Marshall Valvestate for a more all-round and versatile sound.
