Probably the same guy.  I worked with him at Silicon Graphics 10 years 
ago.  Lots of musicians end up as programmers after they leave the music 
industry.  The bass player from Tony Orlando and Dawn used to work at Sun!

Unfortunately, not as many of us programmers switch to being full-time 
musicians.  I guess the cut in pay is hard to take :)
