I got a pair of Oktava ML319 condensers at Guitar Center for $150
(including tax) recently. The highly reputable small-diaphragm Oktava
was $90 each, plus another $20 for the shockmount. Dunno if they sound
that much better than the MXR, but they're cooler. :} And i've been
extremely pleased with mine.
