maybe try this:
(look at this on a fixed width font like courier)

FCB101 -> midi thru box (1:2) -> repeater01 midi in
               |
               \----->  \
                         | Midi merge box (2:1) ---> repeater02 midi in 
repeater01 midi out ->  /
