workshop at California State University Los Angeles with
composer/laptopist Neil Rolnick, sponsored by American Composers Forum
of Los Angeles.

WHAT:
Using downloaded demo software (e.g Reason, Live!, Reaktor)
or your own licensed software on your personal laptop, we go through
setting up, playing live, and recording to disk. Work alone or
in impromptu ensembles; come away with experience and enough knowledge
to keep working (and playing) on your own. Up to 20
participants. Participants may provide their own laptops
(Mac or PC) or they may use one of the Macintosh G5 systems in the Cal
State computer music lab. Space is limited, so reserve your space
today!
