Laptop Rigs Revisited

Dear all,

Hey, has anyone tried out Native Instruments' Guitar Rig 1.2?  How does 
it compare to Digitech's GNX4?  Has anyone tried to run either of these 
effects units on both a Mac and on a Windows XP box?

 From the demo, it looks like the looper within it isn't the greatest, 
as you have to record the lick you want looped, then mouse around to 
get the loop to playback and repeat, taking your hands off of the 
guitar/bass/etc...
