Re: Adrian Belew

Adrian is amazing and also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet in the music business. Its great that he can play really crazy avant garde stuff like King Crimson or Zappa and then play beautiful understated acoustic work like his playing on Tori Amos' strange little girls and be so great at both.

I know this isn't a looping topic,
but  I'd like to share with you the pleasure that give me the latest album of Adrian Belew.
It's very difficoult a categorization, SIDE ONE pass trough rock, pop, alternative, and some other genres, confirming the talent of Andrian in composition, in playing, and in discovering new sounds and rythmic architettures.
Sometimes, I've heard some loops  and reverse effect (...as usual).
Even if I am a keyboardist i was always attracted by the guitarists: i like King Crimson and Robert Fripp (....I like Paco de Lucia and egberto Gismonti too...)..., but Adrian Belew is pure "genius".
Someone have hear Side one ?
